Why is Greenshot conflicting with OneDrive screenshots?
Competing screenshot handlers can intercept keys or consume clipboard capture results.
How to do it on Windows
Competing screenshot handlers can intercept keys or consume clipboard capture results. Before changing capture or export settings, save any important existing work and check the Windows notification area for a running Greenshot process.
- Step 1. Check whether OneDrive screenshot saving is enabled for your Windows account.
- Step 2. Review Greenshot preferences for Print Screen, Alt+Print Screen and Ctrl+Print Screen.
- Step 3. Disable one duplicate handler or remap Greenshot to an unused shortcut.
How to verify the result
A single shortcut should lead to one predictable destination. Check the actual image file or open capture result instead of relying only on a successful shortcut animation. If the expected output is missing, repeat the task with a known local folder and the tray-menu command.
Common limitation or mistake
For repeatable troubleshooting, record your Windows version, Greenshot release, capture mode and chosen destination. Changing one setting at a time makes it easier to identify which adjustment helped.
